Quick video. I like it n=because of what I created that it’s about. I could have written a long talk about seeing it from my perspective. The truth is some how when I wrote the text the dialogue from the narrator I simply tapped into how I am feeling. Haveing a stroke is scary it reminds you of your frailty.
Mortality was a consept I know but having the therapy from cancer comeback is harrowing. I got lucky and came out mentally shaken but physically as fortunate as it gets, I was unaware that ever so slowly living normal was killing me. Life is like that I suppose living does that. So the perspective this page does well was l=seeing your fears. the truth they hold and the false prophecies.
This week is a big deal for me. I did half this book while recovering. I can see it but I learned to cover it and evolve past it because while my hands dhook, my brain didn’t. Slowly every day the exercises and therapy takes hold and the illustration gets better but the process the need to do it came from inside me. True talent is that want that need that love. I hope that is what showes the most the love of the page the hope that the story creates feeling and emotion.
On Friday at 4 ish I launch, Ill be free drawing on Jasons program doing Gandalf the hamster. Fey’s companion and loyal pet. He is a simple character but pne that represents the naivity and simple pov that most children have. If not friend why friend shaped? Camille is very much of that ilk. Even now her heart innocently wants to share her love. Its intoxicating really.
I ask that you come support the book. Issue 3 is just under half done so we are moving fast and emptionally swift as the story builds. I need to keep going and while I regret it coming delayed because of the year I have had the plan is for the rest ot the issues to finish this next year. More coming more to explore.
