Hello everyone,
So progress is still going on we are at 64% with just over $700 to go. THings are well so far and last night I made some new prints for the Thank you files!! One of them is this great image about Gauge getting cut up by the Goblin Queen. We know she is a dark fae driven with her needs and wants to do anything to a mortal she seems to think will get her what she wants, but lets talk about the Big man for a moment. The original member of Damage inc. and the guy who started it all.
In found families it is inevitable that the kids organize themselves into the rolls they need the most. The roll we are going to talk about now if Big brother, they kind of come in a couple different versions and today were talking about the Jerk. In ours that was Gauge. He constantly has sarcasm coming out of his mouth, is worried about being strong enough and always pushing the others. That is because that is the oeson he felt he needed growing up, and who he became for Damage. You see he actually has a ton of heart. a huge reason he does what he does is to keep peoples attention on him. That way when bullets fly hes the target insteamd of whatching his brothers and sisters go down.
He can take the hit is what he would say if he was being honest istead of hiding behind mom jokes and sarcasm. That is just where he is. A lot of Damage inc. are like that. locked into the mindset where the limites of their coping skills got them. Over the course of the War of Lost Daughters we will be pushing that limit for several of them, and finding out a bit more about the motivations and reasons behind that.
